FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - December 08, 2003
Duality Software releases Calendarscope 2.0 for Windows 9x/ME/NT4/2000/XP
While there are a lot of scheduling utilities out there on the market, few titles go beyond offering the standard set of features - various types of task scheduling, alarms and notification options, planning recurring events and so forth. Compared to the regular scheduling applications, Calendarscope is like a skyscraper standing among one-story buildings.
Calendarscope 2.0 has several improvements over its predecessor. Task and TaskPad view options now allow user to see all kinds of scheduled tasks - Active, Overdue, Completed, and even the tasks that do not have a deadline or a due date. The other practical feature of the software is an option to create online schedules and place them on the Web, so that others can see it. Now, any team working on the same project can see what the other members are currently working on.
Importantly, Calendarscope offers a handheld synchronization feature, available as a separate plug-in. A lot of people use Palm OS compatible handheld devices from various manufacturers as organizers; having a calendar with scheduling options is a great bonus to the handheld owners. The other great program features are customizable time scale, multi-day viewing options, color-coded events, strong 128-bit encryption, support for the national holidays for 30 different countries, Web calendars, read-only schedule access to network users and much more.
Searching, filtering, archiving, backup, import and export options make Calendarscope 2.0 a great utility not only for the personal use, but for many industries as well. Medical professionals, teachers, sales people, coaches, financial officers, journalists, secretaries and office workers all found Calendarscope to be of great help in their daily activities.
